In May the
teachers from England and students and teachers from Spain were visited our school. The Spanish students
stayed with host families. It was an interesting and enriching experience for
all. On the first day of stay our guests were welcomed by Polish teachers and
students at the school. Polish students presented the short play in English, they
danced as well as musical performance was presented by children from our
kindergarten. The Spanish students were invited to take part in learning the
polonaise dance. The guests visited the historical Niewiadom Mine Ignacy and
they entered the tower, where they could enjoy a beautiful view. The next day our guests had an opportunity to go on a trip to Rudy and visit
the silver mine in city called Tarnowskie Góry. There was a main attraction: we could sail
boats in the underground of the mine. The next day our guests visited Rybnik.
Moreover, they went on a trip to Krasiejów - the park dinosaurs and
paleontological excavation area.
