Visit to Spain – May 2013

Between May, 20 and 24 the teachers of all the partnership schools met in Grenada, Spain. The host was a Spanish school called IES Alpujarra. The aim of our meeting was to sum up our up-to-date activities in the project.
During the visit the teachers discussed the results of their common activities, both the successes and the problems. It was proudly admitted that all of our plans had been realised. We debated the means of further communication as well as established details as to the next task, that is the filming of language games, which is the responsibility of the Polish school.
Apart from the discussion panels, the guests took part in official meetings, for example at the mayor’s of Orgiva and at the school, as well as toured the sights of Grenada and its beautiful surroundings. Everyone was under great impression of the school that caters for about seven hundred pupils from the age of 12. The students presented their drama skills in an artistic performance about the famous people of the region. In addition, there was a marvellous flamenco show.
The students also prepared delicious refreshments – the traditional local dishes as well as presented their Comenius Corner.
The visit was very successful and provided unforgettable memories!
